   WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS.

Lucy Evans,  Kate Bones, Stephanie James,  Robyn Howe , Jonathan Bradd + Matthew Johnson  qualified for the overall championship of the Drama Festival.  All of the students in the championship with the exception of  Matthew are pupils from KSSD.  Students from eleven schools took part in the festival  throughout the weekend + the final class was tremendous.

The championship trophy was awarded to Robyn Howe and Jonathan Bradd  ( who is affectionately referred to as JB)

Robyn has been a pupil here since she was three years old and this is her final year.  JB came to me when he was five years old but left for a significant number of years only to return as a teenager.

You will remember them as Nancy and Fagin in Oliver, amongst many roles they have played.

WELL DONE !!!

KSSD has held the championship trophy for nine out of the past ten years.  It has never been awarded to a  duologue before.

2005 Winner Daniel Fortune.  2006 Winner   Emma Waring.

Many congratulations once again.

Denyse.
